This is the unlikely story in pictures of how Lucy and I and a number of esteemed guests witnessed — first-hand — the blooming of the ultra-strange Stapelia Gigantea, commonly known at The Carrion Plant. It was an amazing way to spend a Sunday morning.

No Way! This is the same plant that used to live with us on Upper St. back in the stone ages (last century,) right?
