Here's the apex of western civilization: Videos featuring the reprogramming of the Chuck E. Cheese Showbiz Pizza Rock-A-Fire Explosion animatronic band to perform a variety of … other inappropriate songs.
Dude, that is a very righteous point. In fact, I never even liked Chuck E. Cheese. I was a Showbiz guy. I was thinking they were sort of the same, but regionally branded. You have a-waked-me-up to my self-deception!
I did some reading on the subject last month when I came across those videos and I think they started as separate companies and one bought the other, but kept the distinct brands. I wish I could say I retained this knowledge from childhood, but even my robot love only goes so far.

Dude, the Rock a Fire Explosion is Billy Bob's band! Chuck was in the Pizza Time Players.
